Bluetoll LLC (“Bluetoll” or “we”), a subsidiary of Globalvia Inversiones S.A.U. (“Globalvia”), respects your privacy. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to our mobile application slora (the “App”) and the related products and services we offer in connection with the App (collectively, the “Services”). This policy does not apply to information that you provide to or that is collected through any other Bluetoll mobile application, website, service or product.

This Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the Services. Our Services are also subject to our Terms and Conditions. By using our Services, you consent to our Terms and Conditions and to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not consent to our Terms and Conditions or with the practices described in this Policy, do not download, access, or use the App or our Services.

Globalvia owns and operates Bluetoll LLC including mobile applications, websites, products, and services. Globalvia subsidiaries and affiliates include but are not limited to: Bluetoll LLC and Openvia USA LLC.

Information we collect

When you use the Services, we collect various types of personal information directly from you, automatically when you travel through certain electronic tolling facilities as described in the Terms and Conditions, and automatically when you use the App.

When you download, create an account on, and use the App and the Services, the types of information we collect directly from you may include the following:

  • Contact information. We may request your contact information, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Information that identifies you, including your username (mobile phone number) and password (six-digit PIN).
  • Information about your vehicle. We may request information about or that identifies your vehicle, such as license plate number.
  • Payment card information or bank account information. We may request that you provide a payment method, such as a credit or debit card or bank account, along with the relevant card or account information.
  • Information provided through “contact us” or similar functionalities; your communications with us. When you contact us, ask us questions or request help resolving issues with the Services, we may collect copies and records of your contact or correspondence with us and information on your question or issue.

When you travel through certain electronic tolling facilities as further described in the Terms and Conditions, we may automatically collect the following types of information through the Virginia E-ZPass Customer Service Center, the organization that operates such tolling facilities:

  • Information about your trip, including license plate number, location of vehicle, toll amount, and date and time of travel, collected through electronic tolling systems that detect your vehicle by photographing and identifying your license plate.

Through the App, we may automatically collect the following types of information:

  • Usage details. When you use the App, we may automatically collect information on how you use the App, such as statistics on your usage.
  • Device information. When you download and use the App, we may automatically collect technical information about the device such as the brand, operating system, and internet connection you use to access the App.
  • Location information. When you download and use the App, we may automatically collect GPS information on the location of your mobile device in real-time,

as a secondary detection method if your license plate number was not collected through an electronic tolling system during a relevant trip.

A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your mobile device through the App. We may use cookies and similar technologies to recognize your mobile device or you when you return to the App, administer the app, learn about how our users use the App, and improve the App.

How we use the information we collect

We may use the information that we collect about you for the purposes for which it was provided and as otherwise consistent with this Policy, such as:

  • To provide the App, including account creation.
  • To provide the Services, including to charge your payment method when applicable based on a trip that you made.
  • To provide you with information and updates about the Services and your account with us.
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights.
  • To improve our Services and the App..
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provided the information required for the App to function as intended.

How we share your information

Information we collect about you will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Although, we may disclose the information that we collect about you to:

  • Our affiliates and subsidiaries.
  • Our service providers and third parties, to help provide our Services, to detect and identify when you have taken a trip on a toll road for which a toll is due, to facilitate and process toll payments, and to support the functioning of the App.
  • Any buyer or successor in the event of a merger or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which your information is among the assets transferred.
  • Fulfill the purpose for which you provided the information for the App to function as intended
  • Comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights.

How we protect your information

We have taken steps to secure your personal information, including to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, although we have taken steps

to secure your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted via the internet. You are also responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your username and password for the App.

Security

For the Services of the App to work as intended, during the account creation process, you are required to enter your credit card information. Any credit card transactions with the App are handled by third-party financial institutions and their vendors which receive an encrypted token of your credit card number. The App does not store your full credit card number, only the last four digits of your credit card for identification purposes only. The information collected and handled by the third party financial institution is subject to their privacy policies, which you should review.

Children’s information

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information on children under the age of 18. If we learn that that someone under the age of 18 has provided personal information to us through our App, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information. If you learn that someone under the age of 18 has provided personal information to us through our App, please contact us by using the information at the bottom of this Policy.

Changes to your information

You may be able to review, correct and make changes to the personal information you provide to us within the App itself.

Updates to this Policy

We may make updates to this Policy. We will post any updated version of this Policy here. The updated Policy will take effect upon the effective date identified within the updated Policy. If we make material changes to this Policy, we may notify you before the updated Policy is effective. You should periodically check this site for an updated Policy.
